I'm Rae, a lifelong artist and mother of three living in a remote corner of Cornwall.  My life is defined by a deep obsession with the Natural world, a passion that has led me from months of studying insects in South East Asia to the quiet, rugged beauty of the Cornish countryside.

Today, home is a secluded cottage with no neighbours but the wildlife. This silence is where my creativity thrives. My work is a celebration of Natural history, inspired by the intricate details of the insects and creatures that live in the surrounding fields. Whether I'm out trail running or sitting among ancient stone circles, I am constantly gathering inspiration that eventually finds its way onto my page.

In 2021, I decided to translate my love of Natural history art into the world of tattooing. After a dedicated journey through two apprenticeships where I honed the technical skills of the craft, I opened my first licensed studio in 2023 in a small town. However, my heart always remained tied to the landscape.

Today, my studio is a unique, lovingly converted Shephard's Hut at Chyan Farm. Here, surrounded by the same wildlife and countryside that inspires my drawings, I offer a tattooing experience that is peaceful, professional, and deeply rooted in the Natural world.
